About MetroCoal

MetroCoal Limited is an Australian based emerging coal based energy company focused on its coal projects in the Surat Basin in South East Queensland. MetroCoal's vision is to build a substantial cleaner energy and coal business based on export thermal coal from underground mining and where possible, open cut mining.

The Company holds an extensive portfolio of tenements in the Surat Basin. Our initial exploration and analysis of historical exploration conducted over the tenements indicates the existence of prospective thermal coal seams located at depths ideally suited to conventional opencast and underground mining techniques.

MetroCoal is planning an extensive exploration and evaluation program to advance this strategy.

Based on the geological information from the historic drilling programs and its own drilling results, MetroCoal has an exploration target defining between 2.5 and 3.5 billion tonnes within the next two years.

MetroCoal has an experienced team who have considerable knowledge and expertise covering geology, mining, financial management and investment, and business development.
